The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Department of Music is pleased to host the 6th International Conference on the Physiology and Acoustics of Singing.  We welcome you to our vibrant city and hope you will present your recent research at the conference.  The conference will provide opportunities for professionals (teachers of singing, voice scientists, speech pathologists, etc.) to interact with others in fields related to the physiology and acoustics of singing. During the conference the participants will have an opportunity to share current scientific research, clinical applications and a diversity of teaching/performance strategies.  The conference will begin with an early evening reception on Wednesday, October 17 and conclude with the final sessions held on Saturday, October 20, 2012.
